Preparation Work before Egg Tray Manufacturing

Egg tray material preparation

Please make sure that your waste paper and other egg tray raw materials are in place before the egg tray machine starts production. According to the output of the day, prepare a sufficient amount of waste paper and convenient transportation tools. Machine debugging

Egg tray pulping system

The pulp preparation is carried out in the pulping system. In this link, the raw material waste paper is broken, stirred, and pulped to obtain the raw material pulp required for the egg tray manufacturing.

Put the waste paper into the water-powered pulper. Start the equipment and the blades in the pulper start to rotate. According to the capacity of the pulper, after about 30-40 minutes, the waste paper is decomposed into pulp fibers under the action of the shear and friction of the water stream. The pulp fiber flows into the pulp storage tank through the pipeline.

Upgraded pulp preparation treatment (optional)

For customers who need beautiful and clean product appearance, AGICO recommends adding screening and refining to your egg tray manufacturing process. Screening is to screen the pulp in the pulp storage tank to remove impurities. This process can remove the impurities in the fiber pulp, including film, hemp rope, plastic tape, coarse slag and so on. Refining, that is, further separating and dissolving the slurry, so that the quality of the slurry is higher.

Egg tray molding system

The egg tray molding is carried out in the molding system. Egg tray molding is the process of using an egg tray machine to press pulp to be a wet egg tray.

The pulp prepared by the pulping system is diluted to a certain concentration, and then the pulp is pumped into the pulp box of the egg tray moulding machine to prepare for the pressing of the egg tray.

The mechanical plate of the forming mold above the pulp box of the egg tray moulding machine sinks and is completely immersed in the pulp. Under the suction effect of the vacuum device on the back of the forming mold, the pulp is adsorbed in the mold, and the pulp fibers in the pulp gather on the surface of the mold due to the adsorption effect. After a residence time ranging from 5 to 10 seconds, the mechanical plate of the forming mold is withdrawn from the pulp pool.

Due to the unique hollow structure of the egg tray mold, the water in the pulp is drawn from the small holes evenly distributed on the surface of the mold, while the pulp fibers in the pulp gather and adhere to the surface of the mold.

According to the different shapes of the molds, a fiber layer in the shape of an egg tray with a thickness of about 2.5 mm is formed. This is the product of the egg tray forming process-the wet egg tray. The wet egg tray has no load-bearing capacity and needs to be sent to the next drying link for processing.

The drying of wet egg trays is carried out in the drying system. The egg tray drying system is an important part of the egg tray production process. After the wet egg tray is dried by the drying system, the dry egg tray can be obtained. After the egg tray is dried, the fiber in the pulp has a certain supporting effect and can effectively support the weight of the egg. This is what we call the finished egg tray.

According to different budget input, there are three drying methods for egg tray production configuration. They are natural drying, civil drying and metal drying. Among them, the natural drying equipment has the least investment and the lowest drying efficiency. Although the metal drying investment is high, the drying efficiency is the best. Natural drying: Put the wet egg tray on the tray and let it air dry in natural sunlight.

Civil engineering drying or metal drying: The wet egg tray is sent to the drying room through a conveyor belt, and then dried at a high temperature of 180-220℃ to form. It is sent out to the packaging system via a conveyor belt.
